Grab interest
Ellen discovered the wonders of Italian soft glass twelve years ago at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, WA. She has taken classes from such masters are Larry Brickman, Cheryl Matson, Stacy Frost, Elaine Alhadeff, Kim Affleck, and Larry Scott just to name a few.
Ellen is now teaching classes in bead-making at the Pratt Fine Art Center. She has sold pieces of her art in the Pratt holiday sale and the Pratt Fine Art Auction. Her work can be found in several, local Seattle, retail stores as well as Holiday Craft Shows. And has a published tutorial in the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, “The Glass Bead” magazine.
Ellen has been a personal computer software trainer since the early 80’s and she looks forward to teaching her love of soft glass. Ellen has a studio at home, but enjoys working at Pratt where she get a change to interact with other instructors and students.
